Unfortunately, it's our only option for our sport club. It's the only platform everyone agrees to use for group chat. It's primarily used for club notifications and one neat bot that pushes warnings to everyone if there's a malfunction in the sporting equipment.

If someone wants privacy, Signal is amazing, but Telegram is super convenient for everyday stuff and weather chat. ☺️
