My main gripe with the Fountain app is what greets me when I open it. Why are recently played episodes the first thing on the home screen? I’ve already heard them and there's no need to keep showing them to me.

Below that is “Trending,” which I sort of get, but it’s not my thing.

I’m writing this because I want to lay out what I expect from a podcast app. When I tap the app icon, the first thing I wanna see are the newest episodes from the shows I actually follow. Everything else can live somewhere else.

Tap, Tap and it starts to play.

Please add a setting that lets users pick what lands on the home screen.

I'm coming from the #podcastaddict app and I'm spoiled what I could do in their app.
