Imagine if, instead of competing, all the research and resources from companies and governments worldwide were combined to develop a single AI model for humanity. With that level of collaboration, we might have already reached Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
It's possible because one example of a global cooperation is the International Space Station ISS.

Unfortunately, what we see now are tech companies and researchers working in silos, competing to outperform each other.

Elon Musk’s narrative of “saving humanity” or colonizing Mars is hard to believe when the reality is that much of this competition is profit-driven and self-serving.

Instead of these fragmented efforts, what if we aimed higher? Imagine building a Dyson sphere?
A massive energy-capturing structure near the sun, and using its unlimited energy to power a global AI training center. We could feed it every piece of information ever created, from words to every piece of art and knowledge we have ever produced. That’s the level of ambition needed to truly unlock the potential of AI—not building war machines or facial recognition tools for surveillance and control where the most of the money is flowing.
